1. Who we are

Training Goat (“the App”) is operated by Think Bigger Limited (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the web app or the iOS app, and why. Contact: privacy@thinkbigger.ie.

2. Data we collect

  • Account — email address and authentication credentials (handled by our auth provider, Supabase).
  • Profile & plan — goals, experience, optional sex, age, height, weight, equipment, injuries, diet preferences, schedule, and the training/meal plans we generate for you.
  • Coach & AI activity — chat messages, scan results (text summaries), and usage needed to run coaching and fair-use limits.
  • Apple Health (optional) — if you connect Health, we may read workouts, weight, body metrics, sleep, steps, and related samples you authorize, to power insights and plan adjustments. You can disconnect in the App or iOS Settings.
  • Camera / photos (optional) — food scan, form check, and body scan may use your camera or photo library. Body photos are analyzed ephemerally and are not stored as lasting media on our servers; we keep derived coaching notes you choose to save.
  • Device features — optional Face ID / Touch ID for app lock (processed on-device), and local notifications for workout or meal reminders you enable.
  • Payments — subscriptions and top-ups are processed by Stripe. We store Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and plan status; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical logs — IP address, rough device/browser info, and error logs needed for security, rate limiting, and reliability.

3. How we use data

  • Provide and personalize workouts, meals, coaching, and progress features
  • Process payments and enforce plan / fair-use limits
  • Improve safety, prevent abuse, and debug outages
  • Communicate about your account (e.g. password reset)

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your Health or camera content for advertising.

4. AI processing

Coaching, plan generation, and scan analysis use Google Gemini (or successor models) on our servers. Prompts may include your profile, plan context, Health summaries you enabled, and images you submit for a scan. Do not upload content you are not comfortable sharing with our AI processor under their data processing terms.

5. Processors & sharing

We use service providers who process data on our instructions, including:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • Amazon Web Services — application hosting
  • Stripe — payments
  • Google (Gemini) — AI inference
  • Apple — App Store distribution; Health data stays under your Apple Health permissions

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect users and the service from fraud or abuse.

6. Retention

We keep account and plan data while your account is active. You may request deletion in the App (account deletion) or by emailing privacy@thinkbigger.ie. Backups and legal retention may apply for a limited period. Payment records are retained as required for tax and accounting.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EEA/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object or restrict certain processing. Contact privacy@thinkbigger.ie. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. International transfers

Some processors may process data outside Ireland/the EEA. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) provided by those vendors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may be highlighted in the App or by email when appropriate.

11. Not medical advice

Training Goat provides fitness and nutrition coaching tools, including AI-generated suggestions. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Consult a qualified professional before starting a new program, especially if you have injuries or health conditions.
